There was a very popular parallel competition at the end. I let Ricky rest and changed Trey for Kidd with Katka. Unfortunately Katka and Trey lost already in the first run. But Kidd with me got to the final and shared the 2nd place with malinois. Maybe I should try to run in my shoes next time and not shoeless but it was such a hot day ;-)

Besides those two runs there was also a very prestigious trial „Newcomer of the Year“ which had two rounds (Agility + Jump). Telkkä won the LA category among more then 50 dogs. Congratulations!!!!!

Grek’s training place OSA VOSA organized Club Trial again. From the trainees category Grek moved up to the beginners' category (dogs who are not competing yet). He placed 7th in Jump in total (5th in LA) and he won Open totally. He got 4th place in total of Open + Jump and the second in LA – Congratulations!!! Pepsi participated in his first official Agility Trial in March. In the first rnd of Open 1 he came 8th. In the second rnd of Open 1 he placed on the nice 2nd place. Congratulations!!!!

I took Kidd on Sunday to the Training Trial with Antonin Grygar. There were 9 dogs in LA. In the first Jump, meant just to warm up, we came third. In Open we were 3rd too and in the last run which was Jump we again got 2nd place. Kidd lost a second or two with a small mistake in weaving poles but still had the average speed of 4,34 m/s. Open and Jumping counted together - 2nd place. I was very pleased with him :-)

Kidd joined us at this trial completely unexpectedly. Monika called me on Thursday and asked if I could „pet-sit” him for few days. I had planned training with Trey for that evening so I took Kidd with us. I tried to train with him too and we were not so bad. It was not so smooth as we never trained together before but Kidd was even praised by our coach (Antonin Grygar). After the agreement with his owner I entered him for the weekend trial. He would have gone there with us anyway so at least he had some fun there. I am very proud on him, most of the penalty points and eliminations we got during this weekend were refusals. We need to „read“ one another better to compete as a team and which needs time. And even for me it was not so easy to compete with 3 dogs at one trial especially when I have to handle them differently and also Kidd is used to having different verbal commands.
