Ricky likes herding a lot but in the middle of capital city is hard to get to some sheep. In the beginning I was trying to spend more time on herding but the problem is that in the Czech Republic herding is organized by BC people who do not concede that also some other breeds can herd and even with different style. Anyway we passed Herding Instinct Test on April 15, 2000, the judge was Serge van der Zweep from Belgium.

I do not like the way how are BCs trained here and that's why I decide to enter with Ricky on some herding clinic abroad. I found herding clinic organized in Germany with Jan Wesen from USA. Jan is herding instructor (her breeds are Aussies and kelpies) and she is one of the ASCA herding judges. We spent 3 wonderful spring days there. Thank's Maika and Jan :-))) I have to say that after this clinic I suspect now how to train herding with Aussie.

Ricky likes herding a lot but as living in the capital city unfortunately we have no access to sheep in reasonable distance. So I am trying to make him happy during the summer. While we are at the Agility Training Camp on northern Moravia we are visiting my friend who raises sheep not far from there.
