Ricky was chosen mainly for agility so he was from puppyhood taken to training regularly. Agility is my main hobby and we spend most of the weekends during season on competitions. Just for interest, I counted how many days we competed in particular years: 45 days in 2001, 40 days in 2002, 30 days in 2003. In 2004 (19 days) and in 2005 (16 days) we missed agility trials due to Conformation ring. Unfortunately I still do not know how to be at two places at the same time ;-) In 2006 we were busy with our first litter so we trialed only 21 days. We compensate it in 2007 and just in the Czech Republic (beside foreign trials) we competed 36 days.

Ricky participated in his first competition on July 9, 2000 in Prague. On this competition he passed first A1 exam with excellent result. We move up to A2 on June 23, 2001 in Hradec Kralove. Ricky fulfilled conditions for move up to A3 on December 27, 2003. I knew that in 2004 and 2005 we will spend a lot of time with Conformation so I left the move up to 2006 when puppies from our planned litter will be in their new homes.

In August 2006 we finally move up to LA3 and the first two runs in this category Ricky won. As usually we spend our vacation at agility camp in Vetrkovice – more here.

We participated at the first ASCA Agility Trial in Europe in September 2006 – more here. Ricky returned home from this Trial with the titles JS-E (JS-O, JS-N), GS-O (GS-N) a RS-N. With almost all of the titles which was possible to achieve in respect of number of runs there.

Ricky also won the Club (KCHBO) Agility Merit.

Second European ASCA Agility Trial was in May 207 in Belgium and we could not miss it. Ricky finished RS-O there. More about this trip – here.

Of course we could not miss summer Agility Camp in Vetrkovice.

Ricky also defended his LA 3 in almost 9 years (in CZ it is not forever and the dog has to defend it within 12 months or goes back to A2) and also fulfilled conditions for the Club (KCBO) Working Champion (in agility). In the Agility Merit of the Czech Agility Club (all breeds) he placed 19th from 295 dogs in LA category.

Ricky spent 42 days competing in 2008. Shortly before being 10 years old he placed 14th from 109 dogs in LA at the Czech Agility Championship. In the Agility Merit of the Czech Agility Club he was 35th from 335 teams in LA. In Club (KCHBO) Agility Merit he was absolute Winner in 2008.

Due to Ricky’s age I slowed down in number of trials where he is competing in 2009 and also because to compete with 3 dogs in one category is not always such fun for me. Nevertheless he participated at 18 trials in the Czech Republic and qualified on the Czech Agility Championship. We also participated on ASCA Agility Trial in Belgium - more here. The trial was two days with 6 runs per day. Ricky finished RS-E and from those 12 runs he got seven Qs and won five runs there. He also got a prize for the fastest time in Regular run. Not bad for 10,5 years old boy who still competes in “normal” category and not in veterans :-))

I will not mention all the results here. I will mention just some noticeable placement. You will realize from the results that we are more successful in Jumpings as they do not have these "stupid" zonas, which Ricky unfortunately considers as unnecessary delay.
